The workshop

CRAFTSMEN SINCE 1950

Our small artisan workshop, Bolsos Bolufer, was founded in 1950 by Juan Bolufer and is located in Gata de Gorgos, Alicante.

Our town is well known for the craftsmanship of palm and leather handbags.

We decided to continue the tradition of our ancestors and we are currently working on this project the third generation of craftswomen,

formed exclusively by women.

THE VALUE OF HANDMADE PRODUCTS

We want to value our roots and that is why everything is made here, in Spain.

We believe it is necessary to value craftsmanship, a trade, a way of life that is tradition and we do not want it to be lost.

We know how complicated it is to produce in Spain and compete against big brands.

That's why we have a very low sales margin and we don't usually discount our products.

This way, we can guarantee you the best quality at the lowest price all year round.

THIS IS HOW WE UNDERSTAND CRAFTSMANSHIP

Since our creation we have been characterised by the quality of the products we make.

We choose each of the materials we use one by one.

We respect the natural drying time of the vegetable fibres and the manufacturing time of each bag.

We make the bags as we always do, without haste.

We manufacture in a handmade way from beginning to end.
