We exclusively use vegetable tanned leather in all our products. It drastically lowers the environmental impact compared to chrome tanned leather and also lasts longer.
While vegetable tanning is not 100% perfect, it lets the nature of the leather show through. In addition, all our leather comes from the food industry.
We use the small pieces of leftover leather to make zip sliders, to stamp our brand or for small parts.
This way, we manage to create less waste.
To achieve a good finish, we take care of every detail, that's why we can't leave out the trimmings.
We use YKK zips and sliders, and with the excess leather, we make the zip pulls to match the carrycot.
